I wish there was a way to turn this “auto-brightness” off. Download BlueStacks on your PC/Mac with the help of the available download link. I had to crank it up all the way in the light settings and even had to increase the brightness in the graphic settings before it would be bright enough. Then, when daybreak came, I’m guessing that because of the brightness of the landscape being white, my dashboard became suddenly very dimmed. I was driving during the night and everything was fine. The other thing I did notice has to do with this auto-brightness that SCS introduced with the 1.40 lighting changes. Of course, it didn’t help that I was pulling a triple low boy with some heavy machinery. Like I said, I’d like to keep it, specially if it affects other parts of the game but the braking intensity is too much. I didn’t even stop before hitting the truck in front of me that was leaving. I started using engine brake and slammed the brakes as much as I could. I was going 65 on the highway when I got the early warning for the scale. Question, though: is the physics mod reducing the braking intensity? Does it affect something else? I’d like to keep it active but I think it reduces the braking intensity too much. The atmosphere with the shorter days is very well done. The snow drift effect behind cars looks a lot better than the previous version. Very nice I just did over 1000 miles with it.
